TCL Groups
The interest groups are what makes TCL buzz. They are all grass roots groups - people coming together about a particular theme because they care about that and want to do something locally as part of the TCL network.
All the TCL groups are open to all. Here's the current list - it changes from time to time as groups come and go with people's energies!
Groups
If you're keen on a group that does not seem to exist then just get in touch - email info@transitioncitylancaster.org. and we can help get it going and give it some web space.
Where we meet
We've found that meetings in pubs can be hard to focus and hiring rooms can be expensive - so we tend to meet in one another's houses. Please feel welcome and invited to come along. It is most definately NOT a secret society! This is why we list it all on the web! If you're interested in any group at all just come along and join in - or else call the contact person first if you'd like a chat.
The groups hold regular get togethers so if you have an interest in a topic or are simply curious about meeting new people, having a laugh and trying to change our world then you will be guarenteed a warm and enthusiastic welcome. Coming to a meeting is more important than what you bring with you, though buscuits, cake, chocolate or refreshments always go down well.
